Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare
The Nightmare takes place at the Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., scheduled on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: Oct. 10-13, Oct. 17-20, Oct. 24-27 and Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
The haunted house attractions were a creative collaboration between Zombie and haunted house producer Steve Kopelman, based on films that Zombie wrote/directed: “House Of 1000 Corpses,” “The Haunted World of El Superbeasto” and “The Lords Of Salem.”
You can expect an experience with “with animatronics and effects, a maze that is the ultimate definition of claustrophobia and fear, sudden chills and startling thrills, and salacious humor that will make one scream with fright and laughter.”
Plus, you’ll find outdoor screenings of classic horror films, food & beverage vendors, and freak show characters on the Great American Nightmare Monster Midway.
As you might have guessed, Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare isn’t for young children or the faint of heart.
“This is it! The ultimate badass Halloween experience! No one will walk away disappointed,” says Zombie. “I am thrilled to bring The Great American Nightmare to California and begin a reign of bloody terror!”
