“When Toby asked me to come on board, I immediately said ‘Yes!’” Hagar said. “He’s put together a hell of a concert lineup to help raise funds for the brave and resilient people of Oklahoma. My job is going to be to help them take their minds off their problems and have some much needed, good old-fashioned fun.”

Thanks to underwriting and sponsorship donations from Ford Trucks, Verizon, Walmart, and Academy of Country Music Lifting Lives, 100 percent of ticket proceeds will go to the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

The Associated Press reported that overall damage from the May 20 tornado that struck the Moore, Okla., area is estimated as high as $2 billion. After another series of tornadoes hit the Oklahoma City area May 31, the death toll blamed on the storms was pegged at 48.
