Frontier Touring Company has beefed up its schedule for the southern late winter and spring.
Justin Bieber brings his Believe tour to Australia and New Zealand with nine arena stops Nov. 23 to Dec. 8. The shows in Vector Arena in Auckland, Sydney’s Allphones Arena and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne were announced as doubles, as Bieber’s schedule does not allow any extensions.
British four-piece Bastille will do two club shows, at Sydney’s Metro Theatre Aug. 14, and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel Aug. 16. The act’s single “Pompeii” went double platinum downunder and remains at No. 5 on the official ARIA chart.
The Cult brings its “Electric 13” tour to four theatres Sept. 28 to Oct. 5.
Frontier Touring also announced Neon Trees to open for Taylor Swift s five arena shows Nov. 29 to Dec. 14. Australian R&B singer Guy Sebastian was already confirmed to also open.
In other tours announced downunder, Platinum One Entertainment brings Salt-N-Pepa back for five theatre dates Nove. 8-16.
Select Touring is touring two of Taperjean Records’ U.S. acts. Former Dance Gavin Dance and Emarosa singer Jonny Craig makes his Australian debut with eight club appearances July 11-21.
The band Alesana returns for seven theatre and nightclub appearances Aug. 7-15.
