Modern Vampire Weekend Dates

Vampire Weekend says the band is just “thrilled” to add 10 new U.S. dates to its fall itinerary. But first the indie rockers have more than a dozen festival appearances around the globe to take care of, as they show off their brand new LP.

Modern Vampires of the City was released in May as the follow-up to the band’s sophomore album, 2010’s Contra.   

Summer festival appearances include , , , and . Ezra Koenig and the gang haven’t forgotten about the U.S. festival circuit either – the band will take the stage at , and .

The new dates are slotted in between London’s Sept. 15 and Mexico City’s Oct. 13. Previously announced fall gigs include Sept. 20 in Brooklyn, N.Y.; Sept. 28 in Los Angeles and Oct. 8 in Kansas City, Mo.; as well as , which takes place Oct. 4-6 and Oct. 11-13.

Sept. 25 – Fayetteville, Ark., Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP)     
Sept. 27 – Phoenix, Ariz., Comerica Theatre     
Sept. 30 – San Diego, Calif., SDSU Open Air Theatre     
Oct. 1 – Tucson, Ariz., Rialto Theatre     
Oct. 2 – Albuquerque, N.M., Kiva Auditorium     
Oct. 5 – Tulsa, Okla., Brady Theater     
Oct. 7 – Nashville, Tenn., Ryman Auditorium
Oct. 10 – Grand Prairie, Texas, Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie

Presales begin June 26 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the public June 28.
