Rock The South Fest Deal

Organizers of the Rock The South Festival in Cullman, Ala., have landed a contract to host the two-day country music event there for the next five years.

The event, held at the city’s Heritage Park, was launched last year to commemorate the community’s resilience and strength in rebounding from 2011’s devastating tornadoes, with part of the proceeds going to local charities.

More than 14,000 tickets were reportedly sold prior to the June 21-22 event featuring Hank Williams Jr., Sara Evans, The Band Perry, Gregg Allman, Scotty McCreery and Jamey Johnson.
