Love Lust Faith + Thirty Seconds To Mars

Thirty Seconds To Mars has reserved a string of September and October dates in its calendar for the band’s first North American tour since 2011. Jared Leto and the gang have a new album to share with U.S. and Canadian fans – “Love Lust Faith + Dreams.”

Released in May on Virgin Records, the band’s fourth studio album debuted at No. 6 on the Nielsen SoundScan chart. A few months before that, the band celebrated the release of the LP’s first single, “Up in the Air,” by watching a Falcon 9 rocket take off from Cape Canaveral, Fla., and blast into space. On board the rocket was a compact disc that included the single.

“It was amazing to feel it take off,” frontman Jared Leto said in a recent interview, according to the Associated Press. “The noise and the brightness was overwhelming, and you’re still a mile away.”

Thirty Seconds To Mars will spend the next several months up in the air, on the road and on the stage supporting Love Lust Faith + Dream. Entertainment Weekly was one publication that gave the album high marks, writing that its “throbbing modern-rock anthems ‘Up in the Air’ and ‘Bright Lights’ offer visceral, hands-up hedonism.” People magazine wrote that “Jared Leto’s band takes off into the U2 stratosphere.”
