Thank You, Marty!
Paradigm’s Marty Diamond is expected to be honored at T.J. Martell Foundation’s annual Family Day Event, and some of the booking agent’s clients are going to play for him.
Diamond’s fete takes place at Roseland Ballroom in New York Sept. 15. The Family Day will honor Diamond and his family – Marilyn, Apple and Story for their support of the organization.
Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran are scheduled to perform, as well as newcomer Austin Mahone who, along with Sheeran, is touring with Taylor Swift. All three are Paradigm clients. Disney star Bridgit Mendler from “Good Luck Charlie” is also scheduled to perform.
“My family and I are honored by the recognition from T.J. Martell,” Diamond said. “I have always supported and respected their research efforts and we plan to make this Family Day a huge success on all fronts.”
Family Day provides games, carnival activities and food to raise money for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. So far it has raised close to $5 million for Martell-funded research at 12 hospitals. Last year’s event honored Train.
