Global Spectrum Partners In Jobing.com Arena
Global Spectrum will co-manage Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz., home to the National Hockey League’s Phoenix Coyotes.
The announcement follows an agreement with Renaissance Sports & Entertainment, the company purchasing the Coyotes from the NHL.
The deal announced July 2 coincides with the city council’s vote to approve a 15-year, $225 million lease with RSE at the venue.
The deadline to complete the agreement and team purchase is Aug. 5.
The arena lease puts RSE one step further in closing the deal for the Coyotes, which has been run by the NHL since 2009 when former owner Jerry Moyes took the team into bankruptcy.
