Feliciano said in his complaint that “perhaps only a blind man could have missed the signs” to reject the offer from Broward County-based Sciacca, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Feliciano is blind.

Sciacca maintains that Feliciano filed the suit to avoid paying “significant sums” owed to MBM Entertainment, according to the paper. According to the complaint, Feliciano met Sciacca at the Seminole Hard Rock Café in Hollywood, Fla., and was convinced to drop his then-manager and sign with him for a career “renaissance” and promises of an 18-month world tour.

Feliciano also alleges Sciacca promised a booking on “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest” and to create a “worldwide brand” for the singer/guitarist with lines of footwear, handbags and fragrances, according to the paper. The singer’s attorney told the paper that Sciacca had actually booked “extremely few jobs.” The complaint seeks to have the management contract voided.
