Turn Up Minus The Bear’s Acoustics

Acoustics II, which is the follow-up to the 2008 EP Acoustics, features eight “re-imagined and elegantly pared down” Minus the Bear songs along with two brand new tracks. The album is described by the band’s PR reps as “a rare chance for fans to experience the group’s songwriting and innovation in its purest form.”

Fans can show their support for the new album via the band’s Pledge Music project. Pledge range from $10 for a download of Acoustics II to $1,000 for a signed Ibanez guitar that comes with handwritten lyrics to one of the album’s songs as well as a YouTube video of vocalist/guitarist Jake Snider or guitarist David Knudson playing your guitar with a shoutout to you. All pledges come with an immediate download of the track “Hooray.” The band has not yet revealed the release date for Acoustics II.

The fall tour kicks off in September with four nights in California. Here’s the plan:
