Armed Man Killed Outside Keef Concert

An armed man was shot and killed outside a recent Chief Keef concert at the Farmers Public Market in Oklahoma City after a confrontation with off-duty police officers.

Officers working security outside the July 11 show noticed Brian Simms apparently unconscious in a parked car. According to police reports obtained by The Oklahoman, the officers noticed Simms had a gun in his waistband.

Sgt. Paul Gaylon shot and killed Simms following a confrontation regarding the weapon, according to police. Galyon, a 19-year member of the force, was reportedly placed on paid administrative leave.
