McDonald Settles Royalties

Michael McDonald has reached a royalty settlement with Warner Music Group.

McDonald, in a lawsuit filed in a federal court in Nashville, claimed Warner underpaid him for digital and ringtone royalties, according to the Tennessean.

McDonald’s attorney, Richard Busch, won a similar case for Eminem in 2010 and has negotiated settlements for acts like Peter Frampton and Kenny Rogers. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
