Johnny Marr Flips ‘The It-Switch’

Johnny Marr puts on his tour boots for a fall run through the U.S. beginning on the West Coast on Halloween night. The former Smiths guitarist also released a new song, a B-side called “The It-Switch.”

The “It-Switch” arrives as the flip side to Marr’s new single, “New Town Velocity,” from his latest album, The Messenger, released earlier this year on Sire/ADA. The single will be released exclusively in the U.K. next week as a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl and will be available on iTunes as well.

Marr’s upcoming journey through America begins in Anaheim Oct. 31 and wraps in Fort Lauderdale Nov. 26. Stops include San Francisco, Dallas, New York, Cleveland, Nashville and Atlanta. Here’s the routing:
