Cincinnati Gardens For Sale
The owners of the 11,000-capacity Cincinnati Gardens in Ohio are putting the arena and its 20 acres of land up for sale after 35 years of owning it.

Kenko Corporation, which acquired the then-vacant facility in 1979, hadn’t set a price at press time. It opened in 1949. Arena president Peter Robinson said that despite the Garden’s history the sale is a sign of the times.
“Times have changed in the last few years,” Robinson said. “Fewer and fewer opportunities exist to bring our blend of shows. It’s become difficult to sell tickets to anything.
“Our hope would be to sell, and see the historic venue move forward in its current state: a sports and entertainment venue. However, we are prepared to explore other opportunities.”
The Gardens has hosted college basketball, indoor soccer and family events and has been been home to ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones and AHL’s Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
Concerts over the years include The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Madonna, Michael Jackson, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., and Neil Young.
