Robert DeLong’s Long Journey
Having already appeared at major 2013 festivals such as Coachella, SXSW, Sasquatch! and Ultra, DeLong keeps hitting the major events, playing Chicago’s Lollapalooza and Osheaga in Montreal during August. His Euro dance card is also filled with festivals, including Austria’s Frequency, Rock ’N’ Heim in Germany, Belgium’s Pukkelpop, Netherlands’ Lowlands and the U.K.’s Reading and Leads fests.
Described as a “one-man futuristic dance party,” DeLong will feature music from his debut album Just Movement available on Glassnote Records. The album’s second single, “Happy,” will make its radio debut July 23 but you can hear it via SoundCloud today.
DeLong’s headlining jaunt falls between festival dates in Europe and appearances and fall festival appearances at Mexico City’s Corona Capital extravaganza, San Francisco’s Treasure Island fest, Mountain Oasis Music Summit in Asheville, N.C., and New Orleans’ annual Voodoo. DeLong will also play Budweiser’s “Made In America” Philadelphia event, St. Louis’ LouFest and Breakaway in Columbus, Ohio, in between headline dates.
