BottleRock Corrected
Neither Bob Vogt nor Gabriel Meyers are partners in Napa, Calif.’s Uptown Theatre as was reported in Pollstar’s July 1 story, “BottleRock Uncorked,” and neither the venue nor its partners are in any way affiliated with the May festival.
An Uptown Theatre LLC board resolution released by the venue’s manager and members states that Vogt, an organizer of BottleRock along with Meyers, is the manager of Premier Real Estate Investments, which in turn is a member of Uptown Theatre LLC.
Neither Vogt nor Meyers “operates” the Uptown.
“Confusion has arisen regarding the relationship between [Uptown Theatre LLC] and [BottleRock Napa Valley] through the initial promotion and marketing of BRNV,” the resolution says. According to a statement, “Meyers has no interest in Uptown Theatre and Vogt is a minor investor with no managerial control over the business whatsoever. They do not ‘operate’ the business in any manner.”
