Be Still With The Head And The Heart

We have a few announcements to talk about that should set fans’ hearts aflutter. In addition to The Head And The Heart revealing the name and release date for its new album, the indie rockers have booked their first headline tour of 2013.

So far this year, the band has played a handful of one-off headline gigs and festivals along with support dates with Dave Matthews Band. The next few months calls for more of the same with festival appearances including in Montreal, , San Francisco’s , and in Cincinnati. Head And The Heart will also play both the and , S.C., editions of Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival. The group opens for Dave Matthews Band in late August and early September in Salt Lake City and Quincy, Wash.

Let’s Be Still is due out Oct. 15 on Sub Pop as the follow-up to the band’s 2011 self-titled debut.

The fall headline tour begins the following week in Asheville, N.C.

The band promised on Twitter that more dates are coming, including West Coast gigs “(after the tour) and Indianapolis (on this tour)…”
