Phish Concerts Weather Storm

Venue reps said the lawn area had been completely redone and sanded in some areas, more concession areas and restrooms had been added, and Phish brought its own multiple delay sound system to improve the sound coverage to the lawn area. 

Thunderstorms did put an end to Phish’s first-night concert about halfway through the set but didn’t halt the subsequent days’ festivities, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Parrotheads had a huge mess to deal with when heavy rains caused the newly laid sod on the lawn area, expanded to accommodate 30,000, to became a swamp at the shed’s inaugural concert. Live Nation issued refunds or free passes to an available show at other Live Nation venues in the area as compensation.
