A December Fest? It’s True!

December in Scottsdale, Ariz., might get a little hotter thanks to a mysterious new festival in the works.

True Music Festival is slated to take place at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick on Dec. 14 featuring yet-to-be-named artists, art installations and roving performers.

Salt River Fields At Talking Stick is the spring training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

The multi-stage event, situated near Phoenix and Arizona State University, will be a first for the area and True Fest founder Jarid Dietrich says he’s working to create “a totally unique festival experience.”

“More importantly, we wanted to create something that the people of Arizona could grab hold of and say ‘this is ours’,” Dietrich continued.

The lineup and details on VIP and travel packages are forthcoming.

Pre-sale tickets for the fest go on sale Aug. 22 for $60. VIP packages will start at $130.
