This year, Nyon was lit up by legends as the organizers highlighted the performances of Neil Young & Crazy Horse and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Although it’s not Switzerland’s biggest festival, certainly not in terms of daily crowds, the six-day gathering that’s technically outside Nyon in the village of L’Asse is widely considered its most prestigious.
Many of the 35,000 or so daily crowd will have bought six-day tickets.
More than 9,000 people were on the campsite.
The other acts keeping Paleo at the top of the pile included Arctic Monkeys, Santana, The Smashing Pumpkins, Blur, Sigur Rós, Sophie Hunger, Alt-J, Two Gallants, Dizzee Rascal, Palma Violets, and The Lonesome Southern Comfort Company.
