SD Arena Rising
A 13,000-capacity arena under construction in Sioux Falls, S.D., is at its halfway point, with concrete poured, steel beams in place and suites going in at the $117 million Denny Sanford Premier Center.
The project is expected to be completed in fall 2014. The biggest part of the project, a 360-degree concourse, is installed and city leaders say the next goal over the next six months is to get the roof put up.

Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether and public works director Mark Cotter marked the halfway mark with a media tour of the rising arena and thanked local residents for their patience as construction continues.
