Breaking News: Robert Plant Is Now On Twitter

To celebrate his debut on Twitter, Robert Plant answered a handful of questions posed from his new followers on the social networking service. Turns out if he hadn’t joined Led Zeppelin, Plant would be a marriage counselor.  

The English musician/singer/songwriter also started an Instagram account, joined Google Plus, and relaunched his website with a bunch of multimedia and archival material.

“Check out my new site..there’s some stuff from my personal collection on there too..” Plant tweeted.

1. What is your most favorite Led Zeppelin song to perform on your solo tour?
“What Is and What Should Never Be”

2. Ever hear a song and think, “Damn, I wish I’d written that?”

3. Hi, Ultimately what are the things that keep driving you forward ?
Unexpected adventures musically, emotionally and geographically 

4. If you didn’t join Led Zeppelin, what everyday job would you be doing instead?  
Marriage Councellor  

5. What is the last album you listened to completely?
Phosphorescent – “Muchacho”

6. best piece of advice for young songwriters?
Keep mixing it up. Change key regularly. Try different guitar tunings  

7. Of all the concerts you’ve performed, which concert has been the most memorable to you?
Festival in the Desert, nr Timbuktu, Mali
