Sky High With Big Gigantic

Big Gigantic will be on the road throughout September and October as the electronic duo makes its way to New Orleans to wrap its trek at the Nov. 2. The “Sky High Tour” includes a hometown show at Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver dubbed “Rowdytown II.”

Last year’s debut “Rowdytown” was the first time a band had ever used projection mapping visuals on the venue’s rocks. Now, saxophonist/producer Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken are promising a bigger lighting rig and more projection mapping. The Sept. 28 gig features support from Aventure Club, Carnage and Mania Focus.

Check out the “Rowdytown II” promo video with Big Gigantic’s remix of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hit “Can’t Hold Us” below.

Before the “Sky High” tour officially begins the band will play at NYC’s Randall’s Island Aug. 30 and at Chicago’s Union Park Aug. 31.

More festival appearances are in store for Big Gigantic along the “Sky High” route including Mad Decent Block Party shows in New Braunfels, Texas; and Los Angeles as well as in Frisco, Texas; in Las Vegas and The String Cheese Incident’s .
