M’era Luna Sells Out

Although German goth fest M’Era Luna is pretty much guaranteed to do at least 20,000 per day, this year’s gathering was the first in 15 years to to sell out all 25,000.

The last time was in 1998 when Rammstein and The Cure were the headliners.

This year the headliners on the old British military airfield at Hildersheim included HIM and Nightwish. 

The FKP Scorpio-promoted event is generally recognized as being Europe’s premier goth gathering.

The other acts helping M’Era Luna to a full house Aug. 10-11 included ASP, Front 242, Blutengel, Front Line, Assembly, Lord Of The Lost, The 69 Eyes, The Cruxshadows, and Zeromancer.
