The White Buffalo Heads West

Now that The White Buffalo has wrapped a string of solo East Coast dates, the singer/songwriter/guitarist otherwise known as Jake Smith is ready to plot out the first leg of a full-band national fall tour. So far, the outing includes stops in California, Colorado and Arizona.

But first The White Buffalo has a handful of previously announced headline dates scheduled in the U.S. in August and early September along with appearances at the , , and Americana Music Conference.

His new album – Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways – is due out Sept. 10. Fans that preorder the 14-track LP will receive a free download of the new single “Don’t You Want It.” And of course, we know you do want it.

The fall tour launches with a hometown show in Los Angeles. Here’s the plan:

Oct. 17 – Santa Barbara, Calif., Soho Restaurant & Music Club     
Oct. 18 – San Francisco, Calif., Great American Music Hall     
Oct. 19 – San Diego, Calif., Birch North Park Theatre     
Oct. 22 – San Luis Obispo, Calif., SLO Brew

Tickets for the Los Angles show are on sale now. Select dates go on sale Aug. 16.
