Billy Currington has a Georgia trial date of Oct. 4 on charges he threatened a 70-year-old tour boat captain and his passengers as they cruised by a mansion Currington was staying at April 15.

The country singer allegedly screamed at Charles Harvey Ferrelle, called him foul names, chased him and threatened bodily harm. Currington pleaded not guilty Aug. 14 to felony charges of making terrorist threats and abuse of an elderly person.
If convicted, he faces one to five years per count in prison.
