The Black Crowes Announce Final 2013 Dates

Saying the band has no future plans for touring, The Black Crowes announce more dates for autumn, including all-acoustic shows and completely plugged-in gigs. The Brothers Robinson will also welcome special guests on select gigs.

Word from The Black Crowes’ nest is that individual members will pursue other projects including solo albums during 2014.  In other words, the remaining 2013 dates will be the last chance to see the band for quite some time.

Included in the newly added dates are the band’s four nights of acoustic shows slated for mid-October at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., after which the band will play four nights of electric music at New York City’s Terminal 5.  Both cities, along with the final tour stop in San Francisco in December, will see The Black Crowes welcoming very special guests to the stage.

“The tour this year has been incredibly positive,” drummer Steve Gorman said.  “The turnout and response from the fans has been overwhelming.  After 23 years of doing all we could to kill this beast – and I mean we really threw everything we had at it but just couldn’t get it to die – I think it’s obvious that the best course of action is to enjoy it as much as we can.”

Tickets for Port Chester and new York City go on sale Aug. 23 and the San Francisco show goes up Sept. 8.  Visit BlackCrowes.com for more information.
