Dixie Chicks In Canada

The Dixie Chicks reveal a Canada adventure as the ladies plot out a nine-city journey across the provinces launching in British Columbia in October and playing Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.  General onsales begin next week.

The Chicks’ “Long Time Gone 2013” tour comes after the group’s well-received appearances at Canada’s Craven Country Jamboree, Cavendish Beach Music Festival and the RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest. 

“We had such a great time playing for our Canadian fans this summer that we’ve been inspired to come back for more,” Martie Maguire, Emily Robison and Natalie Maines said in a statement. The outing marks the first time the Dixie Chicks have toured Canada in seven years.

Oct. 29 – Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Encana Event Centre
Oct. 31 – Calgary, Alberta, Scotiabank Saddledome
Nov. 1 – Edmonton, Alberta, Rexall Place
Nov. 3 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Credit Union Centre
Nov. 5 – Winnipeg, Manitoba, MTS Centre
Nov. 8 – Oshawa, Ontario, General Motors Centre
Nov. 9 – Hamilton, Ontario, Copps Coliseum
Nov. 10 – London, Ontario, Budweiser Gardens
