Sara Bareilles’ Brave New Dates
When Pollstar interviewed Bareilles’ agent for her 2008 cover story, Marty Diamond said, “She’s a career artist. This is the beginning of a very long and fruitful career.” Well, looks like he was right. The fall tour includes her first headline performance at NYC’s historic Radio City Music Hall.
This month Bareilles has a few headline dates to do before she teams up with Ryan Tedder & company for the co-headline excursion, which launches Aug. 29 with a show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colo.
Bareilles is supporting her third studio album, The Blessed Unrest, which debuted at No. 2 on the Nielsen SoundScan chart and includes the single “Brave.”

There’s a good chance tickets might go pretty quickly. Her recent “Brave Enough Tour” sold out nationally in three minutes.
Her May 20 stop on the tour in Atlanta was filmed for a new live DVD and CD package, which Bareilles executive produced. Brave Enough: Live at the Variety Playhouse is due out Oct. 22 through Epic Records.
