More ‘Unusual’ Dates From Cyndi Lauper
The 22-date second leg of the trek will kick off Oct. 18 at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, N.J., and wrap Nov. 16 at Connecticut’s Ridgefield Playhouse.
Lauper’s been celebrating a creative renaissance of late, winning a Tony Award for music she composed for the Broadway musical “Kinky Boots,” releasing a New York Times best selling autobiography, “Cyndi Lauper: A Memoir,” and starring in the We TV docu-series “Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual.”
But for each date on the tour, Lauper will take a walk down memory lane, performing her debut 1983 album, She’s So Unusual, in its entirety including hits such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop,” “Money Changes Everything,” and “All Through the Night.” Select concerts will feature special guest Hunter Valentine.
