What The Puck?

An Oxford, Ohio, university is off the hook for injuries a fan suffered when she was hit in the head with a stray puck during pre-game warmups for the school’s hockey team.

Ohio’s Court of Claims ruled Miami University wasn’t liable for the woman’s injuries and she took the risk of being struck by a puck when she entered the Goggin Ice Center to attend a game on the campus.

The woman sought $200 from the school to cover her insurance deductible.
