Steines, who has interviewed hundreds of musicians, actors, producers and athletes, will host the event’s “Spirit Of Excellence Awards” honoring Spotify’s Daniel Ek, Rob Wells from the Universal Music Group, Atom Factory’s Troy Carter and Catherine An of House Of An-Crustacean and Tiato Restaurants and An Catering.

Open to the public and taking place at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, the event running Oct. 11-13 gives you the chance to rub shoulders with the rich and/or famous.  It begins with the Meet The Artists reception Oct. 11 followed by the Spirit Of Excellence Awards dinner Oct. 12 with Ms. Caillat performing.

But it doesn’t stop with the awards because Oct. 13 is filled with arts, music, wine, beer and gourmet food trucks.

Presented by American Airlines and the Universal Music Group with a sponsor list including Accenture, Code Advisors, Live Nation, Mediacom, Microsoft, Spinlet and the Wasserman Foundation, the Artworks For The Cure benefits the T.J. Martell Foundation’s efforts to fund innovative cancer research at 12 research hospitals across the U.S., including pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
