Eric Clapton, Gloria Estefan On Baloise Lineup

Eric Clapton and Gloria Estefan are among the headliners set to appear on Switzerland’s Baloise Session, a series of concerts beginning in late October and running through mid-November.

The folks behind Baloise Session like to describe the shows as a “candle in the wind” in that the concerts take place in front of audiences seated at candlelit tables to provide an “intimate club-like setting.” Scheduled to run Oct. 25-Nov. 14, artists appearing at this year’s Baloise Session include Chris Cornell, Aimee Mann, Incognito, and Texas.

Scheduled to perform on the last two nights – Nov. 13 & 14 – Clapton’s first evening includes Caroline Chevin on the bill while night No. 2 has Blackberry Brandies appearing. Estefan’s Oct. 29 concert is billed as “an evening with.”
