For those of you who like to categorize, classify, index and reclassify your concert experiences, Rob Zombie’s Great American Nightmare will feature rock alternative acts on Thursdays and EDM on Fridays while devoting most Saturdays to hard rock/metal with Sundays focusing on Latin music.

The battle of the bands will commence with preliminaries at The Slidebar in Fullerton, Calif., Sept. 9, 16, 23 & 25.  Four finalists will duke it out Oct. 6 with one winner earning the honor, fame and all the glory that comes with performing on the Monster Energy Main Stage at the FEARplex on a date to be announced at the end of the competition.

But don’t start loading your gear into the van just yet.  Before you even think of a Fullerton road trip you need to enter the competition by emailing your band’s name along with genre, Facebook page, Twitter feed, and contact name to [email protected] by Sept. 13.
