Free Your Mind With Cut Copy
Now that you’ve returned from your journey around the world to listen to Cut Copy’s new song, “Free Your Mind,” the Australian synthpop band has announced plans to come see you. The first leg of U.S. dates begins in late October in Salt Lake City.
Before debuting the single online on Monday, Cut Copy made fans work to hear the tune. The band posted on its Facebook page Sept. 6, “A new song has made its way into the world, and six global locations have just been revealed. We invite you to journey to one of these locations, open http://cutcopy.net/ on your mobile device (enable location services) and FREE YOUR MIND.”

Coordinates were posted for locations in Detroit, Chile, U.K., California Desert, Mexico City and Australia.

“Free Your Mind” is the title track to the band’s fourth studio album, due out Nov. 5 via Loma Vista/Modular. Pre-order the LP now via iTunes and you’ll get an instant download of the single.
