A Fete For Fey
Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver will host a fundraising event Sept. 26 for the Barry Fey Foundation, created after the legendary promoter died in April at age 74.
The Denver Film Society will commemorate the 30th anniversary of “Under A Blood Red Sky” in Fey’s honor, with performances by local artists The Samples and Madam Sin and a showing of the acclaimed U2 concert film.
Fey was instrumental in not only bringing concerts to Red Rocks, but for boosting U2’s then-fledgling career with the film.
Fey is seen in the movie, introducing the band from stage.
The Barry Fey Foundation benefits Colorado music programs.
