Roger Daltrey Joins ‘Moody Blues Cruise II’

Legendary Who frontman Roger Daltrey will travel the Caribbean with Britain’s pioneering progressive rock band in April as The Moody Blues finalize the lineup for its .  Also on board will be Carl Palmer, , and others.

Leaving Miami April 2 onboard the MSC Divina, The Moody Blues’ long distance voyage will take you to such ports of call as Grand Turk Island, Turks & Caicos, and Nassau, Bahamas, returning April 7.

The theme of the cruise is “Return To The Isle Of Wight,” based on the 1970 Isle Of Wight Festival, which included performances The Who and The Moody Blues.  Traveling with Daltrey will be his backing band made up of guitarist Frank Simes, Scott Devours on drums, bassist Jamie Hunting, keyboardist Loren Gold and guitarist Simon Townshend (Pete’s brother).

This classic rock excursion also includes Starship, Little River Band, The Strawbs, Joe Williams of Toto, Glass Hammer, Sound Of Contact feat. Simon Collins, Jimi Hendrix Tribute feat. Randy Hansen, Eagles Tribute feat. Danny Vaughn, The Prog Rock Orchestra, Heavy Mellow, Mellow Yellow and Cheap Thrill.

Along with five days at sea immersed in Isle Of Wight memories, the voyage will include Q&A sessions, a karaoke bar, special events and other endeavors designed to make this trip one you’ll talk brag about for years to come.
