Carole King will be the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year.

King will be feted Jan. 24 during Grammy week in Los Angeles.

Dixie Chicks, Lady Gaga, Bette Midler, Jason Mraz, James Taylor and Steven Tyler are expected to perform in King’s honor.

Lou Adler, Martin Bandier, Rob Light and James Taylor are tribute chairs.

King is recognized for her many philanthropic activities over the years and involvement with environmental organizations and political causes.
