Rick Ross Reveals ‘Mastermind Tour’

Performing with a live band for the very first time, Rick Ross has slotted eight cities for his “Mastermind Tour” beginning in Detroit in November. Destinations include Boston, New York, D.C., and Miami.

Ross’ tour announcement comes on the heels of last week’s release of his new single “No Games,” featuring Future.  Promising a “new look and sound,” Ross’s AEG Live adventure has the Grammy-nominated Def Jam Recordings/Maybach Music Group magnate performing with the five-piece 1500 Or Nothin’ Band.  Known as the Fifteen Hundreds, the band has backed Snoop Dogg, Lupe Fiasco, T.I., The Game and Faith Evans.

“It has never been done like this,” Ross said.  “We’ll be performing everything from ‘Tears Of Joy’ to “Aston Martin Music,’ all with a live band.  It’s time to remind everyone what Maybach Music is all about.”

Ross’ U.S. run begins one month following his London engagements at the Indigo O2 set for Oct. 7-8.  Here’s the plan:

Nov. 12 – Detroit, Mich., Masonic Temple Theatre
Nov. 14 – Boston, Mass., Orpheum Theatre
Nov. 15 – New York, N.Y., Beacon Theatre
Nov. 16 – Mashantucket, Conn., MGM Grand At Foxwoods
