DePaul Taps Pelli
Pelli Clarke Pelli, the architect behind the famed Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has signed on to design a Chicago event center that will house DePaul University’s basketball arena.

The arena at McCormick Place will feature a 10,000-seat capacity, the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority announced.
The building, which will hold both basketball and professional events and meetings, is slated to open in 2016.
