New Club In Louisville - Pollstar News

Live Nation, owner of Louisville Palace in Kentucky, announced it will open a 900-seat, two-story club in the complex in the spring.

The announcement was made during the groundbreaking for the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown at Clay Commons, according to the Courier-Journal.

The hotel is expected to open October 2014.

The Louisville Palace Theatre holds 2,711.

The new venue was announced by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.

“It’s happening man,” Fischer said. “That’s good, that’s awesome.”

The venue will be built by House of Blues Entertainment. However, a spokeswoman for the company said it would not be an HoB-branded club.
