Rap Lawyer Facing Weapons Charges

A Bronxville, N.Y., attorney who represented artists including Eminem50 Cent, and Ice-T in the late ’90s and early 2000s has pleaded guilty to an illegal weapons charge in connection with an incident last year during which he was found with a stash of illegal guns.

Randall Cutler allegedly told police his brother attacked him during a dispute over a gas generator following Hurricane Sandy, hitting him with a socket wrench, stabbing him with a crowbar and threatening his life.

But the story didn’t jibe for authorities, according to the local Journal News, since the brother could be heard on a 911 call screaming Cutler was pointing a gun at him.

A police investigation uncovered an arsenal that included an AK-47, a TEC-9, a sawed-off shotgun, a rifle, several handguns and revolvers, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, knives, a sword and brass knuckles, the paper said.

Cutler faces up to seven years in prison for charges that include criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, though he could reportedly receive less than a year of jail time if an agreement is reached with prosecutors.
