Charlie Daniels Readies ‘Christmas 4 Kids’

Justin Moore, Sawyer Brown, Phil Vassar and Rodney Atkins will appear at Charlie Daniels’ annual event helping kids in need scheduled for November in Nashville.

A non-profit organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged kids, gives more than 400 children from 29 different schools a day-long shopping adventure.  Traveling via a luxury tour bus, the special day includes dinner and a party hosted by Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus at the Expo Center in Hendersonville, Tenn. Topping off the day will be a trip to Walmart in Hendersonville where each child receives a brand new winter coat and $150 to spend any way they want.

Helping to fund the shopping spree, the “Christmas 4 Kids” concert is set for Nov. 25 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and is hosted by Daniels.

“Christmas 4 Kids is about helping underprivileged children who might not have much of a Christmas if it weren’t for this organization,” Charlie Daniels said.  “We’ll be having fun helping to put smiles on a lot of faces this Christmas.  Thank you Music City for your support and to our artists friends who come out every year.”
