Presented by Budweiser and powered by GEICO Motorcycle, Love Ride is set for Oct. 20. Proceeds go to the USO to help support deployed troops and their families as well as wounded, ill and injured troops and their caregivers; and families of the fallen.
The Love Ride fun begins at the Harley-Davidson in Glendale, Calif., for a celebrity press conference with Jay Leno and a concert featuring American Hitmen followed by The Forest Rangers with Katey Sagal.
After that you’ll hop on your bike and hit the road for a scenic ride to the Castaic Lake Recreation Center.
Once you reach your destination, attractions include more music and a performance from the Victor McLaglan World Champion Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team. There will also be food trucks from around Los Angeles, a vendor area with top companies from the LA area and the motorcycle world, a raffle for exclusive motorcycle items, and celebrity greetings.
As for the celebrity appearances, Peter Fonda and Robert Patrick are the honorary grand marshals while Willie G. Davidson is the honorary chairman. Lorenzo Lamas will also be there.
You can register now for just $20. Riders can either collection donations for the fundraising commitment from friends and family (a minimum of $60) or pay the amount in full during registration.
Admission includes access to the events in Glendale and Castasic, parking and a ticket for a chance to win prizes including a 2014 Harley-Davidson Road King. Participants who raise $150 of fundraising or more will be eligible for additional prizes such as a Love Ride 30 pocket watch or access to the backstage.
