Man Injured In Saddledome Fall

A man was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Oct. 5 after falling 30 feet outside the  in Calgary, Alberta,

The man, who’d been ejected from the Saddledome by security during a  concert, was walking with a friend when he fell from a stairway connected to a parkade near the east side of the arena, police said.

“It would appear that alcohol in this situation was a factor, obviously he’d been removed due to his behavior in the building and it will be, later on, investigated as to what transpired,” CPS Duty Sgt.

Rob Vangastel told CTV News. No criminal charges are expected to be filed, police added.

The Saddledome and surrounding fairgrounds faced extensive flooding this summer following heavy rainfall.
