Habitat Event Postponed
A charity event where musicians would help build a house for a needy family has been delayed until next year.

“Unfortunately, we had delays and time became too tight to do the build and the shows properly,” said Campbell Smith, chairman of the New Zealand Music Foundation.
The Foundation teamed with the Habitat for Humanity charity to hold The Big Band Build event Oct. 10-16.
A series of shows were to be staged featuring Shihad, Anika Moa, The Phoenix Foundation, Boh Runga, Hollie Smith and Don McGlashan.
The artists would swap their instruments for hardware tools.
