PNC Arena Schedule Settled

Under the agreement, the university’s Wolfpack teams have priority to schedule events on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from January through the second week in March during the Atlantic Coast Conference season.

University officials agreed to release all but three Fridays from the last week in August through the second week in March to Gale Force Holdings LLC, parent company of the Hurricanes, to schedule concerts and hockey games going into the weekends, according to the city’s News & Observer.

A main concession in the agreement is that North Carolina State will release three dates between Nov. 1 and April 1 at Gale Force’s request to schedule concerts or other events that could gross more than $500,000, the paper said.
