‘Kinky Boots’ Recoups

Producers of the Tony Award-winning musical “Kinky Boots” says it has recouped its $13.5 million capitalization in 30 weeks.

“Kinky Boots” is based on a real-life shoe factory that struggles until it finds new life in drag footwear.

It features songs by Cyndi Lauper and a story by Harvey Fierstein.

A national tour is to kick off in Las Vegas next September.
