WLNE-TV reports that farmer Richard Manfredi cut the words “Welcome Taylor” into his 8-acre corn maze in Westerly. Swift owns a beach home in the coastal town.
The words of welcome are accompanied by the shape of a large guitar cut into the corn.
Manfredi created the message with the help of three others. He says he did it to be a good neighbor.
Swift has already proven to be a good neighbor. She donated a guitar for a charity auction in West Warwick in August that raised money for a local scholarship and a memorial to the 2003 Station nightclub fire victims.
