Paperless? Try Plastic
More than 20 NBA teams use paperless ticketing, but the Brooklyn Nets are taking it one step further.

Fred Mangione, the team’s chief officer of marketing and revenue, told the Wall Street Journal patrons tend to forget their tickets or bring the wrong ones.
Meanwhile, the plastic can be used for purchases inside the building, and the Nets can track them.
Soccer’s Red Bulls began a card system in 2009.
New York is the only state that prevents restrictive paperless tickets.
Mangione said the cards adhere to the law, and fans can transfer their tickets through email or sell them on StubHub or Craigslist.
